Outdoor air

Outdoor air pollution is leading to the premature death of more than 4 million people a year (amongst them, 8 million deaths are attributed to air pollution in general) according to the World Health Organisation. Sulfur dioxide, fine particles, nitrogen dioxide or ozone are the main pollutants present in the air we breathe.

Anthropogenic sources are various (transport, heating, industry or agriculture), and we need to act on each of them in order to improve air quality.

Veolia's offer aims to support its customers in understanding pollution levels, their sources and the implementation of sustainable solutions to improve air quality by mobilizing the various stakeholders. This new offer is based on three service components: Air Control, Air Performance and Air Human.

On outdoor air, this offer treats urban or industrial pollution. It also aims to control odor nuisances, and is adaptable in order to best meet the needs specific to each type of client (communities, manufacturers, waste management and wastewater treatment centers, etc.).
